Eventing horses are wonderful athletes, needing the ability to do all three phases of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.  They need to be precise, careful and bold.  The partnership between horse and rider is what makes this sport so special. We have several options available for those looking to get involved as an event horse owner and supporter.

Stable Name: Pip

16.3h, Dark Brown, Mare

foaled in 2002

Owned by the Forsyth family

Pip is a KWPN Warmblood who has had two foals before being backed aged 7. One of her foals is a graded stallion competing in Grand Prix Dressage in the US. Annie spent time establishing their partnership at Intermediate and has taken her BE Advanced and CIC** at Barbury and Nunney. The family have owned Pip since 2014. She was previously owned by Sarah-Jane Brown.

Stable Name: Toga

16.1h, Brown, Gelding

foaled in 2009

Owned by

Fenella & Annie Forsyth

Toga was bought from Tintin in 2016 aged 7 having been given time to grow and having done very little. Annie has taken him up to Novice and CIC* and is continuing his education. This Irish Sports horse (7/8ths thoroughbred) has a delightful temperament.

Stable Name: Will

16.2h, Bay, Gelding,

foaled in 2012

Owned by Annie Forsyth

(Available for syndication)

Purchased from the Billy Stud's online Auction in October 2017. Will has had a super first season at BE100 and Novice. He is very easy going and is proving fun to produce.  He is available for syndication (in which Annie will be a part) or joint ownership.

Stable Name: Blue

15.2, Bay, Gelding

foaled in 20...

Owned by Lorna Shone

Blue is a retrained racehorse brought over from Spain. Lorna had taken him to 90 but asked Annie to take him to 100.  He has been a part-time resident in Annie's yard in the 2016 & 2017 seasons and Annie is looking forward to welcoming him back in 2018.

Stable Name: Cas

15.2h, Bright Bay, Gelding

foaled in 2000

Owned by Annie Forsyth

Casanova is the reason it all began! After coming 4th in the CIC* at Brightling Annie felt determined to become a full-time Eventer! Cas is known as the Equine Nanny on the yard and helps look after the others. He no longer events but still show jumps and does Dressage. Annie has owned him since 2009.

Stable Name: Justi

15.2h, Grey, Mare

foaled in 2002

Previously owned

by Sophie Forsyth

Justi is the most gorgeous and talented mare who belonged to Annie's sister Sophie. When Sophie fractured both her elbows falling off a bicycle, Annie took over the ride and enjoyed competing at both Novice and 100.  Annie was delighted to see Eliza McCalmont riding Justi at Tweseldown recently.

Lorna Shone: Owner of Blue Cape

I have been competing my horse up to 90 cm unaffiliated but wasn't quite brave enough to go higher, although I suspected he could!

Annie has been competing him for me at BE 100 for the last couple of seasons and the improvement in the horse has been huge, particularly his show jumping.  Annie rides him very sensitively and has always been professional, encouraging and extremely hard working.

My son and I also have lessons with Annie which are always fun and challenging.
