ANNIE'S  TEAM
Annie Forsyth Eventing is very much a team effort

Annie is very grateful to everyone who helps to make it happen; from lovely owners and helpful sponsors, to her trainers  and all the professional external services.  Here you'll find details of Annie's trainers, Vets, Farriers and Physios who back up Annie Forsyth Eventing and make it happen!

Annie's Trainers
Annie trains with a variety of Specialist trainers

Annie has competed up to BE Advanced and International Three star and has trained, and continues to train with a variety of top level specialist trainers.  Her on-going commitment to self-improvement not only helps her in her own competitive riding, but benefits the horses she schools for other riders.

Annie trains with:

  • Tina Cook: Eventing credentials include vast experience at major championships, having competed at two Olympic Games, five World Equestrian Games and seven European Championships achieving a superb array of medals in the process.  Annie finds Tina's down-to-earth approach extremely helpful.

  • Caroline Moore: British Junior Eventing Team and a UK CC Level 3 coach based in Leicestershire

  • "Tintin", Constantin Van Rijckevorsel: the three times Belgian Olympic Eventer

  • Sarah Millis: International Grand Prix Dressage rider

  • Jeremy Spring:  International Event Rider BHSI

  • Tania Grantham of Inspire Dressage

  • In 2017 & 2018 Annie took part in the Mark Todd Bridging the Gap Training series with Gill Watson and Lizzel Winter. The series is for riders making the transition up to 3&4 star.

Using different trainers over the years with different horses has helped Annie to build correct foundations and subsequently build on those foundations to help her achieve her competitive goals.  Annie is always trying to add polish and discipline to her training programmes.

ANNIE'S SUPPORT TEAM
External Services

Maximising potential for high level competition horses needs the best back-up.  Every aspect of horse welfare is examined to produce good management and Annie greatly appreciates her professional support team.

LIPHOOK EQUINE HOSPITAL

VETERINARY PRACTICE

The LEH look after all our veterinary needs and is a fabulous resource. Annie has a close working relationship with the vets at the LEH.  Emma Davis, BVetMed (Hons) MRCVS liaises closely with Annie on all routine matters.

Stuart Duncan, retired Senior Partner, had supported Annie’s family for many years and Annie is very grateful to him for teaching her so much over the years.

JOSH DRIVER

FARRIER

Josh is Annie's farrier and has been shoeing her horses  since 2018. Josh had been remedially shoeing one of Annie's liveries and did such a good job, Annie asked him to start shoeing her horses as well.

Annie and her family had previously been with the same farrier for 15 years but their move from Midhurst to Loxwood became too far for Adrian Brazier to travel.  After so many years we were very sad to say goodbye.

JO PASETTI

EQUINE SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Jo Pasetti, Dip A Phys, is a specialist in training for competition fitness and injury rehabilitation.  Her Techniques include ultrasound, photo-therapy and massage.

Just like human athletes, horses benefit from regular physio treatment to perform at their best. Jo started working with Annie in 2017 and is responsible for all the horses' routine physio to keep them on top form.

KISMET ANIMAL THERAPY

JIN LANGSTONE

Jin Langston BSC (hons), MSc, PGDip MEEBW. With Jin’s help, Annie is exploring some methods to assist in horse alignment. Jin's therapy is a comprehensive musculoskeletal treatment useful as preventative maintenance or for optimal performance ensuring maximum functionality.

JENNY HADLAND

EQUINE PHYSIO

Jenny has looked after Annie and her family's horses for over ten years.  Annie has worked closely with Jenny who also works closely with the LEH. Jenny started in 1986 and is a Chartered physiotherapist and a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy.

PERFECT MOTION PHYSIO

BILL POTTS
Annie's physiotherapist Bill Potts has a special interest in biomechanics, lower limb and injury prevention.

He is particularly passionate about helping people stay active in their given sport or exercise. He does this with manual treatments, specific movement assessment tests and tailored exercise programs to address issues identified.
ANNIE'S FAMILY
FENELLA FORSYTH

Annie’s Mum Fenella, shares Annie’s passion for horses and love of Eventing and was very involved in helping Annie to set up Annie Forsyth Eventing especially during the first six years.

Fenella brought marketing, publicity, sponsorship liaison & organisational skills to Annie Forsyth Eventing and enjoyed helping Annie set up this website.  An extra pair of hands with horses at Events, but otherwise Fenella has retired now!

ANTHONY FORSYTH

Having lived near Midhurst for 20 years, the family moved to a 60 acre farm in Loxwood in January 2016, where Annie set up and developed Annie Forsyth Eventing over the next seven years.

Anthony retired from his City job in 2019 and helped Nella run the farm.  However Ant and Nella decided to retire properly in 2023 and sold the farm to move back to the Midhurst area.

Meanwhile Annie moved her yard ten minutes up the road from Loxwood where she continues to have very similar facilities.

SOPHIE FORSYTH

Annie’s sister Sophie is a great supporter and also takes the best photos in the family. Annie and Sophie had great fun in Pony Club when growing up, doing pairs and being on teams together, going to camp and Sophie was particularly successful show jumping. Sophie now works in Insurance in the City - much to her parents relief, as one competitor in the family is quite enough!

JAKE
WRIGHT

Jake is Annie's long suffering boyfriend.  Nearly always there to support her, also an Eventer, and has his own horses.  The rest of the time he's working as a Lawyer!

Jake and Annie are getting married in May 2023 and are living in Guildford.
